Purple is the monster,
It creeps about that tree.
It’s big, slicked and nasty.
And I know it’s after me.

I know it lurks in darkness,
In the swamps, oh it is so foul.
Oh where can I hide from it?
I thought I heard it howl!

I’m going to try and run away,
That should keep me sane.
Oh but what if it catches me?
My life, it will surely drain.

I’m hiding the in darkness.
I think I’m safe and sound.
Wait, was that a beeping noise?
And faced with daylight I am found.
